Mitchell Conquer
Founder & CEO, KeyPlayers
He builds the teams that run other people’s companies, and writes about the marketing and leadership that keeps them standing.
“You can’t systemize your way out of doing everything yourself. At some point you have to hand something to a person and let them own it.”
How he got here
Mitch started KeyPlayers because of a problem he kept hitting himself. He was building companies that outgrew what one person could hold, and every hire that would have fixed it was too expensive, too slow to find, or gone inside four months.
He didn’t come from business. His first job was as a correctional officer, which is an unusual line on a founder’s bio and a more useful one than it looks. It taught him how people behave under pressure and how fast trust gets built or lost. It taught him nothing about running a company. He learned that part the expensive way.
KeyPlayers now supports 200+ businesses across dozens of industries. The part he cares about is what happens after the hire: the training that runs before day one, the systems the work lives inside, and the success team that manages the person so the client never has to.
He runs the company the way he tells other founders to run theirs, out loud. He posts the numbers that worked and the ones that didn’t, speaks about remote teams and marketing, and still answers a lot of his own inbox.
What he works on
01
Remote teams that hold
KeyPlayers recruits, trains and manages full-time operators for founder-led companies. Mitch built the hiring standard, the training that runs before day one, and the client success model the whole thing sits on.
02
Marketing as the engine
He runs KeyPlayers as a marketing-led company. Content, brand and paid all report back to the same number, and most of what works ends up published instead of kept.
03
Leadership in the open
A small team supporting hundreds of companies only works on systems. He writes about that side of it, including the parts that broke first.

Building the team behind the show
Mitch has worked with cast members of Million Dollar Beach House on Netflix and Selling the Hamptons on Discovery+, bringing AI into their day to day, building out their social presence, and placing operators from KeyPlayers onto their real estate team.
It’s the unglamorous half of a glamorous business. The follow-up, the listing admin, and the systems that keep a producing agent producing.
